Symbiosis Institute of Technology successfully organized the Student–NGO Summit 2026, creating a meaningful platform for interaction and collaboration between students and non-governmental organizations.
The summit saw the participation of various NGOs, including Saving Dreamz Foundation, working across diverse domains such as Education, Sports, Healthcare, Environment, Community development, Women empowerment, Skill development and Social welfare. The presence of such committed organizations provided students with valuable exposure to real-world social challenges and grassroots initiatives.
The primary objective of the summit was to bridge the gap between academic learning and community needs. Through interactive discussions and experience-sharing sessions, students gained deeper insights into: - NGO missions, vision and areas of work. - Community needs and on-ground realities. - Various social intervention models and impact-driven initiatives.
This engagement enabled students to explore opportunities for meaningful and impactful Service Learning projects, ensuring alignment with both academic outcomes and societal impact. Students were encouraged to apply classroom knowledge to real-life situations and contribute towards sustainable development.
