Saving Dreamz Foundation in collaboration with Nagpur Book Club successfully organized a Live Sketching Session for our children.
The session was conducted by Ms. Sanika Tokhi from the field of Animation and Game Design, MIT Institute of Design, Pune who guided the children through an engaging and interactive artistic journey.
For many children, this was a completely new experience. Instead of copying images from books, they were introduced to live sketching and human marking, where they observed and drew a live object/person in front of them.
This helped children understand proportions, observation skills and how to translate what they see into drawings. An exciting and eye-opening learning moment for them.
The children were highly enthusiastic and curious throughout the session. They learned how to: - Observe live objects carefully. - Understand basic human marking and sketch structure. - Express creativity through real-time drawing. - Gain confidence in sketching without fear of mistakes.
It was heartwarming to see the joy and excitement on their faces as they explored this new form of art.
