The 7th Maharashtra State Rope Skipping Championship 2024 witnessed an inspiring performance by the Nagpur Rope Skipping Association and Saving Dreamz Foundation, as their athletes brought home 27 medals after competing with the finest talents from across Maharashtra. The event was a grand stage for showcasing the agility, strength, and dedication of players, and Nagpur rose to the challenge with an outstanding display of skill and sportsmanship.
Medal Tally for Nagpur: 🥇 20 Gold Medals 🥈 3 Silver Medals 🥉 4 Bronze Medals
These medals were secured in Master and Team Events across the 11, 14, and 17 age categories, for both Boys and Girls groups. This achievement placed Nagpur in an impressive 3rd position in the Overall Championship Rankings, trailing closely behind Nashik and Ahilya Nagar teams.
The remarkable performance by the athletes is a testament to their hard work and the relentless efforts of their dedicated coaches Ashish Deshpande and Bhushan Maidule.Both coaches trained the players tirelessly, motivating them to perform their best and instilling a winning spirit within the team.
