The term “plogging” is coined from the English phrase “jogging” and “plocka upp”, a Swedish term that means “picking up”. Yep, plogging is the Swedish fitness trend that combines jogging while picking up trash.
A joint initiative by India Peace Centre, Nagpur Book Club, Saving Dreamz Foundation organised an Plogging activity from Mother Dairy office to India Peace Centre.
Around 30+ members from this organisation had participated in the event.
We almost collected around 15+ baggage of garbage from this area and disposed it to the NMC garbage collection vehicle.
We request citizens not to throw any waste on roadside or any surroundings which can make the surroundings dirty. Also we request everyone to make an habit to segregate the waste at your home / office and also create awareness regarding the same in your locality.
