India Post organized the District Level Philately Exhibition "NAGPURPEX 2024" at Nagpur, a prestigious event aimed at uniting stamp lovers and providing them with a platform to showcase their incredible collections. This two-day mega event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 700+ students, making it a vibrant and engaging experience for all.
In association with Saving Dreamz Foundation and Nagpur Book Club, the Nagpur GPO curated a series of exciting competitions and activities, rekindling the charm of the olden days for today’s generation.
Key Highlights of the Event:
Drawing Competition – "Design My Stamp" Theme: Students displayed their creativity by designing beautiful stamp-themed artwork, reflecting their imagination and artistic talent.
Quiz Competition – History & Heritage of India Post: Participants were challenged with thought-provoking questions about the legacy of the Indian postal system, ensuring they gained valuable insights into its historical significance.
PostCard Letter Writing Initiative – Bringing Back the Old Days: To revive the lost art of handwritten letters, children enthusiastically participated in this initiative, experiencing the joy of expressing thoughts through words on postcard.
The event provided a fantastic learning opportunity while celebrating the legacy of postal services.
One of the most memorable moments was our interaction with Postmaster General of Nagpur, Mrs. Shobha Madhale Ma’am, who highly appreciated our efforts and assured continued collaboration for similar initiatives in the future.
