28th March 24 – Waste Management Sessions

Nagpur@2025 in collaboration with Saving Dreamz Foundation, Rotary Club of Nagpur Ishanya, Sir Gangadharrao Chitnavis Trust, Paryavaran Sanrakshan and in association with Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), successfully conducted a 6-session Waste Management Workshop across 10 schools and 1 college in Nagpur. This initiative aimed to create awareness and instill responsible waste management practices among students, encouraging them to become the change agents for a sustainable future. *Topics covered in the sessions:* *Waste Management* – Segregation of Dry, Wet & Medicinal Waste. *E-Waste Management* – Importance of safe disposal and recycling. *RRR (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)* – Promoting sustainable living. *Plastic Pollution* – Understanding its environmental impact. *Eco Bricks* – Innovative reuse of plastic waste. *Awareness Drive* – Students took the lead in spreading the message in their schools and localities. Over 50+ students from each school were part of this initiative, actively participating and learning about the importance of waste segregation and environmental responsibility. To celebrate the successful completion of this project, a Felicitation Ceremony was organized, where: - All participating schools and their students were felicitated for their enthusiastic involvement and support. - All our dedicated volunteers were recognized and appreciated for their commitment and efforts throughout the sessions. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nagpur@2025, Nimish Sutaria Sir and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) for their constant belief in our Foundation and for partnering with us in this meaningful journey. We also thank all the school principals, teachers and students for their active participation and openness to learning. Together, we aim to build a Cleaner, Greener & Sustainable Nagpur. Because real change begins with awareness and action!
