Saving Dreamz Foundation recently had an amazing opportunity to visit a school - Lokmanya Vidyalaya amidst the serene Village Badegaon of District Saoner.
We were obliged to meet truly dedicated staff and principal Mr. Gajanan Kurwade who have been serving this school of around 350 students of nearby villages.
Seldom we come across a team so determined and honest in their duty of providing education and opportunities to the children of distant regions. They are not only helping children achieve basic education but also will help these students to think clear, have the power to act in today's world and a mind to appreciate life.
In our brief but beautiful meeting with the school management, we learnt the school wish to provide additional curricular activities once they start functioning in full swing. Currently only students from grade V to grade X are attending school on alternate days.
Saving Dreamz Foundation committed to support the school with sports and cultural activities in the near future.
It was heart warming to see such a dedicated team running the school in remote place like this, to make sure children in this area are no longer deprived of their basic right of education.
We respectfully handed over the medical kit to Mr. Gajanan Kurwade. He appreciated our visit in rural area and humbly accepted the medical kit.
