On occasion of "World TB Day" District Tuberculosis Centre, Nagpur, NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Hingna had organised an program to felicitate NGOs/Institutes/etc. for their contribution done under the awareness program designed to eradicate TB from India. It is an Government initiative program.
Saving Dreamz Foundation under this initiative had worked on following program which are listed below:
Nikshay Mitra : With the increase in the number of TB cases in India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare addressed this issue by calling the community to support TB patients to make India TB free. Saving Dreamz Foundation had adopted paediatric patient and continuously providing them with nutritional supplements.
Awareness Program : We also conducted awareness program under this initiative such as :
1. Drawing Competition (TB based theme) 2. TB Awareness Seminar 3. TB Awareness Rally 4. T-shirt Distribution (TB Slogan printed on it)We would like to thank Dr. V.R. Thombre (Dean - Lata Mangeshkar Hospital), Dr. Anirudh Deoke (HOD - PSM Department), Mr. Anil Sontakke (HOD - Respiratory Medicine) and Dr. Radha Mujhe (IGGMC) for felicitating Saving Dreamz Foundation for the contribution done under National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP).
