Mahavir International Service Trust in association with Rotary Club of Pune Down Town organised a two-day camp for distributing LN-4 artificial hands to the people who lost their hands to a mishap or birth defect.
It was a pleasure for Saving Dreamz Foundation team to volunteer for managing the event and handle the administration. Entire event was strategized into various segments as listed below:
1. Registration : Visitors were verified through a document check and given the token number at the desk by our volunteers.
2. Hand size measurement : Beneficiaries hand size measurement was done to check whether they are eligible for LN-4 artificial hands.
3. Computerized records : Further computerized entry was done and printed hardcopy of the same was given to the eligible beneficiaries.
4. Counseling : After moving forward, our volunteers counselled the beneficiaries and showed few videos to motivate them.
5. Fitment : The artificial hand were fitted in this department with the help of medical staff available at the camp.
6. Training : Beneficiaries were given training on how to use the hand along with basic information on to usage of artificial hand for different purposes.
7. Gift section : At the end each beneficiaries was given a gift as a token of appreciation by the organiser.
It was a great moment for Saving Dreamz Foundation team and many of our ad-hoc volunteers present with us to make the event a successful.
All of the Saving Dreamz Foundation volunteers worked hard and dedicatedly as per their age and best to their skill and knowledge.

At the end each volunteer received an certificate of participation and a gift from the organizer.
