This World Bee Day, Saving Dreamz Foundation hosted an enlightening and interactive workshop dedicated to raising awareness about the critical importance of bees in our ecosystem and providing hands-on training in beekeeping techniques.

The Importance of Bees: Experts discussed the pivotal role bees play in pollination, which is essential for the survival of many plants and crops. Attendees learned about the environmental and economic impacts of bees, including their contribution to biodiversity and food security.
Educational Insights: Participants were treated to engaging presentations that covered various topics such as the lifecycle of bees, threats to their populations and the steps we can take to protect these vital pollinators.
Live Beekeeping Training: The highlight of the day was the live beekeeping demonstration. Enthusiasts of all ages were given the chance to don beekeeping suits and get up close with hives. Our seasoned beekeepers provided step-by-step guidance on managing hives, harvesting honey and maintaining bee health.
Hands-On Experience: Participants practiced essential beekeeping skills, from setting up a hive to safely interacting with bees. This hands-on experience was invaluable in building confidence and competence in new beekeepers.
Sustainable Practices: The workshop also emphasized sustainable beekeeping practices, ensuring that our efforts to cultivate bees also contribute positively to the environment.
