On occasion of 131st Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Samyak colony organised a three day cultural program to bring all the colony members together.
It was an event full of enthusiasm, fun, awareness about the surroundings and great catching up after long time.
Saving Dreamz Foundation participated in this event by organising a Drawing Competition for the children in three age groups: from 1 to 8 year, 8 to 13 year and 13+ and above.
Children participated in good number and showcased their creativity through their lovely drawings. It was great to see many budding artists within the colony and Saving Dreamz Foundation committed to provide a bigger platform to shape these little artists in near future.
Saving Dreamz Foundation distributed the prize to two winners in each category.
Mr. Varun Kumar of Goddess Films Pvt Ltd along with the Producer of the movie Vijaya Laxmi Yellanki aunt graced the occasion as judges for dance competition. They liked our little dancers and invited 4 children to showcase their talent in their upcoming movie screening.
Also the trailer of the movie "Kallu" was screened on the LED screen as well as on the projector for the colony members and visitors. Everyone loved the trailer of the movie and applauded the makers for picturising difficulty and daily struggles in life of labor women.
In the end of the event, Team Saving Dreamz Foundation distributed earthern pots to the children of the colony with a message to create awareness regarding birds who dies in such scorching summer heat. We created a whatsapp group for the same and told the kids to send their activity of serving water to birds to us every week.
We would like to thank Samyak Colony members for giving us this wonderful opportunity on occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, taking his message forward to develop an aware, educated and kind society for a better future.
