Saving Dreamz Foundation in collaboration with Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and Indian Biodiversity Conservation Society (IBCS) proudly conducted a powerful Street Play on the theme of *World Environment Day* at Bhagwan Nagar Garden, Nagpur.
The street play titled *"धरती की पुकार"* brought crucial environmental issues to life – including: - सूखा, गीला और औषधीय कचरे का सही प्रबंधन - प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण और सिंगल यूज़ प्लास्टिक पर रोक - बढ़ता ई-वेस्ट और उसका समाधान
The performance featured 8 characters, each representing real-world environmental challenges – from धरती माता’s pain, to the menace of प्लास्टिक राक्षस and ई-वेस्ट बाबा and the hope carried forward by a जागरूक बच्चा and a सजग नागरिक.
The local residents, children and women of the area wholeheartedly supported the initiative. They not only witnessed the performance but also actively engaged in discussions on how they can contribute to saving our planet.
The participation of young minds and local women added extra energy and emotion to the event, showing how environmental change can start right at the community level.
A big thank you to: - Nagpur Municipal Corporation for their consistent support in awareness drives. - Indian Biodiversity Conservation Society (IBCS) for their guidance on biodiversity and waste segregation. - Every resident who came forward and promised to Say No to Single-Use Plastic, Segregate Waste Properly and Handle E-Waste Responsibly.
Stay tuned as we share glimpses from this impactful street play that left everyone thinking —
