Saving Dreamz Foundation, in association with Nagpur@2025, organized an informative Waste Management and E-Waste Awareness Session for the children of our study centre. The session aimed to educate young minds on the importance of waste segregation, responsible disposal and the environmental impact of different types of waste.

The children were introduced to different types of waste:
Dry Waste (paper, plastic, glass, metal)
Wet Waste (food scraps, vegetable peels, garden waste)
Medicinal Waste (expired medicines, syringes, bandages)

They learned the importance of segregating waste at the source and how it contributes to a cleaner and healthier environment.

The session also covered E-Waste (Electronic Waste), which includes discarded mobile phones, chargers, batteries and other electronic devices.

Children were made aware of how improper disposal of e-waste can harm the environment and why it should be recycled responsibly.

The session was interactive and engaging, allowing children to ask questions and share their thoughts on waste management practices. They were encouraged to adopt these practices at home and in their communities.

A heartfelt thank you to Vidyabhanu Mam for delivering such a wonderful and insightful session. Her guidance has helped the children gain a deeper understanding of sustainability and responsible waste disposal.

At Saving Dreamz Foundation, we believe that awareness at a young age leads to responsible citizens in the future.
