On the occasion of National Handloom Day, Peagents World in collaboration with Saving Dreamz Foundation organized a remarkable event, Hastvem, to promote and support the rich handloom culture of India.
The children of Saving Dreamz Foundation, along with other talented contestants, proudly advocated for the use of Khadi clothing, showcasing the beauty of traditional Indian fabrics. The event also featured a captivating short film that highlighted the significance of handloom culture and provided insights into the challenges and triumphs of the handloom industry.
We were privileged to have Lata Tokhi Mam and Varun Kumar as our esteemed guests, who generously shared their time, knowledge and expertise with the children. Their guidance and motivational words truly inspired the participants to appreciate the value of handloom traditions in India.
A special mention goes to RJ Tejal Jogewar whose exceptional anchoring kept both the audience and participants engaged. Her dynamic presence and insightful contributions ensured that the event flowed smoothly, while also sharing valuable information on handloom culture.
Finally, we express our heartfelt gratitude to Rashmi Chatterjee and Sudeep Sir for their unwavering support and for providing us with the opportunity to organize such a meaningful and culturally enriching event.
Together, we celebrated the essence of India's handloom heritage and empowered future generations to embrace and preserve this beautiful part of our culture.
