Saving Dreamz Foundation in collaboration with Ankita Verma has successfully organized a Pista Shell Craft Workshop for the children at our study centre. The workshop was a fantastic experience, filled with creativity, learning and fun.
Pista shells are the hard outer coverings of pistachio nuts. Instead of discarding them these shells can be repurposed into beautiful and intricate craft items.
Uses of Pista Shells: 1. Home Decor: Create wall hangings, photo frames, and decorative bowls. 2. Jewelry: Design unique earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. 3. Art Projects: Make stunning artwork by arranging the shells into patterns or images. 4. Garden Decorations: Craft mini planters or garden markers.
Under the expert guidance of Ankita Verma children explored various designs and techniques to transform simple pista shells into beautiful pieces of art. Here are some of the stunning creations made during the workshop:
- Floral Designs: Shells painted in vibrant colors arranged to form flowers. - Animal Figures: Creative representations of animals using painted shells. - Abstract Art: Unique patterns and abstract designs crafted by the kids.We are immensely grateful to Ankita ji for her time, expertise and the joy she brought to the children.
