World Peace Day also known as the International Day of Peace is a globally recognized observance that calls for the cessation of hostilities and the promotion of harmony among nations and peoples.

Since its inception by the United Nations in 1981, this day has served as a reminder of the importance of peace in a world rife with conflict and turmoil.

Saving Dreamz Foundation in association with Lok Kalyan Yojana and VCLC had organised an "Essay Writing Competition" on the theme "Peace" where more than 500+ children from various schools and NGOs participated.

The motto behind this competition was to delve into the significance of World Peace Day, explore the challenges to achieving global harmony and discuss the collective responsibility we all share in fostering a more peaceful world. Children's were allowed to write essay in any language which they prefer.

For our surprise every child has expressed their view on Peace in a unique way and we as a association need to nurture their creativity and also empower them to shape a brighter, more innovative future for them.

We also felicitated the winners of the competition with Mementos and certificate. And also distributed participation certificate to individuals.

Special thanks to Rajesh Jadhav Sir, Asir Ebenezer Sir, Dr. Tejinder Singh Rawal Sir for this wonderful opportunity.

Also would like to thanks Urmila Vidyabhanu Mam, Bhushan Maidule , Bhumika Meshram , Ashish Dey , Dr. Pranita Lanjewar and all school management, Teacher's and staff for smooth conduction of this competition at schools, NGOs and localities.
