Topic : Role of Millet in human life
The International Year of Millets 2023 aims to raise awareness about the importance of millets and their health benefits. It also seeks to promote the production, consumption, and value-addition of millet products. The theme of the International Year of Millets is “Healthy Millets, Healthy People.” With the aim to create awareness and increase production & consumption of millets, United Nations, at the behest of the Government of India, declared 2023 the International Year Millets.
Rotary Club of Nagpur Mihan Town had conducted an Art & Poster Competition on the theme of Millets. More then 300+ students across various schools from Nagpur participated in the event.
Saving Dreamz Foundation study centre children also participated in the event. They got to know about the importance of Millets and how beneficial it is for health. They draw wonderful pictures which also were showcased in the exhibition conducted by Rotary Club of Nagpur Mihan Town at "The Institution of Engineers, Nagpur".
