Event : Blanket Distribution
"It is not the joy that makes us grateful...It is gratitude that makes us joyful"
In this cold dark nights, being tucked under our cosy warm sheets is magical. However, the harsh winter without layers leaves less fortunate kids and elderly most vulnerable.
In this view, we received several calls from our supporters showing their wish to donate blankets to our foundation which can be distributed to the needy ones.
Knowing that there are many similar activity being conducted by people these days, it was challenging for us to target the people in need of our support, thus we decided to divide our drive into following aspects:
1. To distribute the blankets amongst the students of few schools who really need it most. 2. To encourage students of various grades, who are impoverished but are good in studies. 3. Late night drive around the city and finding the ones without any blanket or bedsheet.
After a year full of all that we have had and achieved, sometimes it's these little things that can make big difference! After the drive we received appreciating calls from various school teachers who were happy that our initiative encouraged students to study harder.
We will be more than happy if our friends and supporters come up to us with any other initiatives or ideas that can make the lives easy for those in need.
